 В Калгари существует несколько пунктов (food banks), в которых вновь прибывшие беженцы и landed immigrants могут получать бесплатные продукты питания. В большинстве случаев горячее питание предлагается прямо на месте.

 Ниже приводится список таких центров. Время работы центров может меняться, предварительно следует позвонить.

Supports for Independence (SFI), often referred to as ‘welfare’
  • Helps people who don’t have enough money for the basics like food, clothing and shelter. It is a program of last resort. You will only receive SFI if you have no other way of supporting yourself and your family
  • If you qualify for SFI, you will receive employment supports, financial assistance and health benefits
  • Applicants should go in person or call any of the locations.
